Supportability Engineering Training offers Students a self-led, self-paced, modular e-learning course on the basic activities of System Engineering. It teaches the basic principles of Reliability, Maintainability and Availability that are fundamental to the life cycle of a System. 
Understanding the life cycle of a System is important if it is to meet the needs of its requirements. Throughout its life cycle, a System must attain maximum availability for operation, maintain optimum performance, be cost-optimised, environmentally sustainable and energy efficient.
The course "Supportability Engineering, a practical approach" teaches the basic principles of Reliability, Maintainability and Availability by "doing". Students learn by doing Step-by-Step Worked Examples and Methods, following "How To" videos, completing Practical Exercises and consolidating their knowledge by answering a Quiz.
This course has been created and developed by its author based on their 40 years of working as a Supportability Engineer. The course is "system generic" therefore applicable to many different systems engineering sectors.
Anyone considering a career or who is already employed in a systems environment will benefit from this course as part of their continuing professional development, such as system design, manufacturing and production, logistic support, and field services. It provides foundational knowledge and an understanding of Supportability Engineering and its importance within Systems Engineering.
